Kimberly D. Litherland is an associate attorney practicing in the area of bankruptcy and consumer protection law. She has been with the firm since 2011. She received her undergraduate degree in 2006 from the University of Illinois and her J. D. in 2009 from Southern Illinois University. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2009 and the Missouri Bar in 2011. She was sworn into the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois in 2009 and the Eastern District of Missouri in 2017.
In addition to her bankruptcy practice, Kim works in the area of Consumer Protection, where she assists clients when creditors and debt collectors violate the law with respect to illegal phone calls and unauthorized demands.
Outside of the office, Ms. Litherland enjoys equestrian riding and spending time outdoors. She has two dogs, one of which (Paisley) can often be seen roaming the office hallways. She is a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in O’Fallon, IL.
